Standardised to 65% total boswellic acids by HPLC. Where a specific AKBA (3-O-acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid) content is required, grades standardised to 10% or 30% AKBA are available on request, since AKBA is the fraction most often specified in clinical literature.

What is AKBA and do I need to specify it?
AKBA is 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid, the fraction most frequently referenced in clinical literature. Standard 65% total boswellic acid extract contains some AKBA without guaranteeing a level. If your claim depends on AKBA, specify a 10% or 30% AKBA grade explicitly.
