Questions about PET Packer Bottles

Is PET or HDPE better for supplements?

PET is glass-clear, so the product is visible, which suits retail and e-commerce presentation. HDPE is opaque but offers a slightly better moisture barrier and costs less at larger sizes. For capsules and gummies sold on shelf, PET usually wins; for bulk powders, HDPE.

Does amber PET protect as well as amber glass?

It provides useful light protection, though somewhat less than amber glass. For highly photosensitive actives with a long shelf life, amber glass remains the safer choice. For most supplement applications amber PET is entirely sufficient.
